The Denver and Philadelphia Mints strike all of today’s U.S. circulated coinage. Made available to coin collectors, the Mint also releases annual uncirculated US Mint Coin Sets. These sets consist of that year’s Denver and Philadelphia issue of the penny, nickel, dime, quarters, half dollar, Presidential dollars and Native American dollar.
U.S. Mint Coin Sets have grown in demand since the Statehood Quarter Program was launched back in 1999, and U.S. Mint Sets have become core collectibles in American numismatics. Representing a point in time, U.S. Mint sets are heavily collected in association with dates to remember, birth years, graduations etc.
